Obituary of Richard Miscavage

Richard Miscavage, 50, of West Wyoming, passed peacefully at his home on Friday, January 15, 2017. Born August 2, 1965, he was a son to the late Lawrence and Lillian Hess Miscavage. Richard grew up in the West Wyoming area and graduated from the Wyoming Area High School, Class of 1983. He enlisted in the US Army National Guard and served in the 109th Infantry as a sharpshooter. Richard held past employment at Marvell, Modern Plastics, and John Manufacturing. Most recently, Richard was employed by Price Chopper Markets. Richard was a craftsman who loved building fine cabinets and projects around his home. He enjoyed going fishing and camping with his friends Mark and Joe. During the week, he would go with his friend Tony to the casino in hopes of winning big. He also enjoyed his music, darts or shooting a game of pool. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother David. Surviving are his brothers Joseph, with whom he resided,West Wyoming; Larry( Mary), Wilkes-Barre; Jeffrey, Kingston; sister Darlene (Russell) Keener, Kingston; two nieces; two nephews and one grand niece. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc.,55 Stark Street, Plains.
