Linda Dawn Gordon (Leapline), 65 of Kingston, passed in to the loving arms of Jesus while
surrounded by her family on May 11, 2025 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
She was born on February 12, 1960 in Howell, MI to the late David and Nita Leapline. Linda was
a graduate of Dallas High School, class of ’78, and Bryan College, class of ’82, where she earned
her BS in early childhood education. Linda had a passion for teaching children, homeschooling
her own three children and tutoring numerous others. She also ran a home daycare for many
years. Linda was known for helping those in need, often opening her home to people (and a few
pet birds) who were going through difficult times. Most importantly, Linda treasured her
relationship with the Lord.
Linda is survived by her husband of nearly 43 years, Mike Gordon, children Michael Gordon II,
Kylene Gordon (husband Adam Morris), Benjamin (Elizabeth) Gordon, grandson Noah Gordon,
sisters Zita Patton, Diana (Andy) Race, Barbara (Mark) Trautman, Karis (Larry) Martindale, and
many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Nita Leapline.
