Irene (Dombroski) Rupert, age 100, passed away peacefully at home on July 26, 2025, surrounded by her children.
Irene (Inky) was married for forty-five years to the love of her life, Richard Rupert. They resided in Wilkes-Barre, Pa, where she raised her five children: Denise (Frank) Paluck; Richard (Barb) Rupert; Susan Rupert; Sandi (Jerry) Lucas; Kellie (Drew) Jubis.
She was a devoted wife, loving mom, and enjoyed spending time with her sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and baking for everyone.
She is survived by her sister Marie Brace, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc. will arrange a private gathering at the convenience of her family.
