There is so much I could say about Ralph, my second father, my dear fiend, my confidant. I could talk to Ralph about anything. His sense of humor was undeniable, so many good belly aching laughs together. I talked with him about stuff I didnt even talk to my father about. As a young lad he didnt talk to me like a kid. He taught me so much of his wisdom. We would talk for hours and hours and I always walked away smiling and feeling blessed to know him and to have him in my life. He taught Me most of what I know about mechanics and cars. Ralph and Dorothy invited me into the family as a son. I truly honor the privelage I was was given by them. My heart aches. May he finally rest in peace knowing how dearly he is loved and missed. I hope to see you again my friend. I love you and I will remember and treasure our friendship forever. Tony Dupak

When I think of you, Uncle Ralph, one of the first memories that comes to mind is being little and spending time with you and Grandpa Tommy out in the garage. I can still picture the smell of oil and tools scattered across the workbench while you both leaned over a car, completely focused but still laughing and talking. Those days in the garage were more than just about fixing cars—they were about family, about learning what hard work and patience looked like, and about the bond we all shared. Even as a kid, I knew those were special moments.
As the years went by, life got busy, and I didn’t come visit as much as I should have. With you being sick, and COVID making it harder to be together, I regret not making more time. I wish I had given you more chances to spend with Skylar and Junior, because I know how much you would have loved seeing them grow. Still, I hold onto the times we did share, and I will always keep those memories close to my heart.
What I’ll remember most about you, Uncle Ralph, is the way you carried yourself—with quiet strength, humor, and love for your family. You had a way of making people feel at home, whether we were just sitting around talking or working side by side. That kind of love doesn’t go away. It stays with us in every memory, every story, and every lesson you left behind.
Even though you’re no longer here with us, you’ll always be part of our lives. We love you, Uncle Ralph, and we hope you’ve found peace. Until we meet again, your memory will live on in our hearts and in the stories we share.
Love always, Jared MIddaugh, Amanda Malenzi, Skylar MIddaugh, Jared Middaugh Jr
