Christopher T. Imbriani, 58, of Ashley, passed on Saturday, September 6, 2025, with his wife Cheryl by his side, in the care of the Commonwealth General Hospital Wilkes-Barre.

Born on July 21, 1967, in Hackensack, New Jersey, Chris was a son to the late Stanley and Patricia Schultz Imbriani. At a young age, the family moved to the Osterhout Area and Lemon Township. Growing up in the Tunkhannock area, Chris attended local schools and graduated from the Tunkhannock Area High School class of 1986.

Chris worked a lifetime in the retail business on the receiving docks and stocking the retail shelves of Ames, Walmart, Boscov, Kmart, Kaufmann’s, Macy’s, and Price Chopper throughout his work career. He also worked at Maui Cup for a few years in packing and receiving.

In 1999, Chris met his future wife, the former Cheryl Brunn. On June 28, 2003, in St. Aloysius Church, Wilkes-Barre, the two were happily married and resided for a short time in the Georgetown area and then moved to Ashley where they lived for the past 20 years.

At a young age, Chris enjoyed bowling and found his passion, like any boy of the time, for the World Wrestling Federation or WWF and is currently known as WWE. Chris and Cheryl enjoyed going to local events at the Monday Night Raw events at the arena and other events throughout his lifetime

Chris was an animal lover of the couple's dogs and cats. He affectionately referred to himself as their dad.

Chris was a dedicated loving husband to his wife and a caring son and brother to his family. A man that had a big heart and he will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents Stanley and Patricia.

Chris’s memory will be cherished and mourned by his loving wife Cheryl, Ashley; sister Debbie Wilmarth and her husband Niel, Lemon; brother David Imbriani, Jermyn ; along with nieces, nephews, and his loving pets.

A memorial visitation will be held on September 14, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., 55 Stark Street, Plains.
