Diane Elizabeth Sott, 65, of Westminster, passed into heaven on December 15, 2025, with her family by her side at Allied Service Hospice, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on May 12, 1960, Diane was the youngest of seven children of the late Joseph and Stella Wawruch Kenzakoski. Diane grew up on Bald Mountain and attended the Oliver School and James M. Coughlin High School.

Her and her husband, Peter were married in 1981 and they lived in Westminster where they raised three children: Tony, Heather and Hilary. Diane was born with a green thumb and her home was filled with beautiful plants and flowers that she had grown. She also had a huge heart for all animals. From cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, crows, turkeys, and goats. Diane would find a place for any animal at her home; she was a true animal whisperer.

She will be greatly missed by her furry companions; Raisin, Melly and Pepper.

She and her family loved to go fishing and camping at Centennial Lake in Canada. It was her favorite place to visit and truly her second home.

Diane had many hobbies over the years but nothing more important than being the caregiver to her family and her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. We will all miss her very much.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Stella, brothers Charles Kenzakoski, Richard Kenzakoski Sr. and Joseph Kenzakoski.

Surviving to cherish her life memories are her husband of forty-four years, Peter, at home; son Tony Fazzi and his wife Alyse, Harrisburg; daughters Heather Dutko and her husband Jonathan, Bald Mountain; and Hilary Anthony and her husband Ryan, Mountaintop; grandchildren Ethan Dutko; Josephine Fazzi; Juliet Anthony, and Caroline Anthony; brothers Edward Kenzakoski, Bald Mountain; Robert Kenzakoski and his wife Joanne, Westminster, and sister Denise Olson and her husband William, Westminster, along with several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation to be held on Sunday, December 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., 55 Stark Street, Plains. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Reginald Thomas.
