Patricia (Pat) M. Suchoski, age 79, formerly a resident of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026, while under the compassionate care of Highland Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Exeter.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on June 21, 1946, Patricia was a beloved daughter of the late Stanley and Genevieve Suchoski.

Patricia was a proud graduate of Coughlin High School, having completed her studies in 1964. Following graduation, she began her professional journey with positions at the Times Leader and Nachlis Furniture. Later, Patricia moved to Florida, where she resided for 13 years. During her time in Florida, she found great joy in spending time with her three young nieces and nephew as they grew up, cherishing the moments they shared together. Patricia’s faith was central to her life, guiding her daily actions and decisions. Eventually, she returned to Pennsylvania, the place she always considered home, where she continued to live with kindness and compassion, always trusting in her faith.

Patricia had a passion for cooking and delighted in sharing her favorite recipes with others. Family gatherings were especially meaningful to her, and she found happiness in the company of family and friends. Her deep faith and love of God served as her strength and inspiration throughout her life. Despite facing numerous challenges, Patricia remained steadfast and wholeheartedly devoted to God's plan for her.

Patricia was preceded in death by her loving parents, Stanley and Genevieve, as well as her brothers, Robert and Stanley.

She is survived by her sisters: Eleanor Dawson of Miami, Florida; Kathleen Crane and her husband Donald of Wilkes-Barre; and Christine Pisarczyk of East Windsor,Connecticut. Patricia is also survived by several nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Saints Peter and Paul Church, located at 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA. Reverend John Lambert, pastor, will officiate the service. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Plains. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.

The arrangements for Patricia’s services have been entrusted to the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., Plains Township.
