Margaret (Peggy) Roman, 89, of Wilkes-Barre, entered her eternal life on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on November 17, 1936. She was a daughter to the late Peter and Angeline Kulikauskas Hutz. Margaret was employed as a clerk at the local market near her home until her retirement. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Angeline. Husband John J. (Stretch) Roman; brother Raymond Hutz, and sister Diane Baston.

Margaret is survived by daughter, Debby Dottery, Saylorsburg; a son, David Roman and his wife, Jeannie, Mesa, Ariz.; grandchildren, Tai Dottery and Olivia Roman; sisters Geraldine Sarti and Elizabeth Simonetti, along with nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend Margaret’s entombment service to be held on Tuesday, July 7th, at 11:00 a.m. in Mount Olivet Cemetery, 612 Mount Olivet Road Wyoming, PA 18644. Prayers and the Rite of Committal will be offered by Deacon Donald Crane.
