Obituary of Leonard Frank Boroski

Leonard Boroski, of Plains Township, died on Friday, August 23, 2013, at the Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Facility, Lake Ariel. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Frank and Nellie Boleski Boroski. He was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, Class of 1950. Leonard served his country in the United States Army. Throughout his life Leonard worked for Kraft Associates, Muskin Pools, Levittown Home Construction, and Owens-Illinois. He was a past member of St. Joseph Church, Hudson, until the church's closure, a current member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church; American Legion, Joseph E. Conlon, Post 558; the Hudson Servicemen's Club; and the Polish American Veterans. He enjoyed shuffle board with his friends and he will be missed. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his sister Joan Hendon and her husband Ken, Hamlin. Funeral Services for Leonard will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. from the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., 55 Stark Street, Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am in Ss. Peter and Paul Church. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
