Clint (CJ) William Thompson Jr., 29, of Wilkes-Barre, passed on Sunday, August 6, 2023, while in the care of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, with his family by his bedside. Born on November 23, 1993, in Kingston he was the son of Clint Thompson Sr. and Noreen Green. Clint grew up in the Plains area and enjoyed baseball and watching the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).He attended Solomon Elementary School, James M. Coughlin High School and was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, class of 2012. Clint also attended Wilkes-Barre Area Vocational Technical School where he pursued an education in marketing. Clint was a dog lover and he cared for his dog Midnight. He is survived by his mother Noreen Reiser and her husband William, Wilkes-Barre; father Clint Thompson Sr. and his wife Linda, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. At the request of Clint’s family, funeral services will be held privately and a memorial service will be scheduled in the near future. Arrangements are in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., Plains Twp.
