Obituary of Alex Trentowski

Alex Trentowski, 70, of Wilkes-Barre, passed on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Commonwealth Regional Hospital of Scranton. Born in Kingston on April 14, 1950. Alex was the son of Chester and Eleanor Jacolik Trentowski. Alex grew up in the Miners-Mills section of Wilkes-Barre and attended local schools of Plains and Wilkes-Barre graduating from James M. Coughlin High School. Alex held employment with URS in workshops for the disabled and most recently worked for the workshop at Allied Services of Scranton. Alex loved movies and music, especially Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and the Beatles. He was a life long member of Saints Peter and Paul Church. He was preceded in death by his father Chester on August 31, 1990. Alex is survived by his loving Mother Eleanor,sister Annette, Aunt Rose, and several cousins that loved Alex dearly. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, July 6,2020, at 2:00 p.m. in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road,Plains Twp. Friends and family may gather for a visitation at the church prior to mass service from 1:00 p.m. until start of mass. Interment in parish cemetery.
