She also worked as the office housekeeper of Doctor Cooper, of Wilkes-Barre, for twenty-five years. After the decline of the local garment industry, Floriann worked in the housekeeping department of the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital for ten years until her retirement in 2001. Floriann was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church, Hudson, were she participated in the quilting group, pierogi making projects, and volunteered her time for the summer bazaars for many years. She was a current member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish of Plains. Mrs. Albert enjoyed her retirement with her husband James, attending church, and loved cooking and baking for her loving grandchildren who knew her as MomMom and Grandma.
