Obituary of Nancy Jean Boyle

Born in Wilkes-Barre on August 6,1967, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nancy Febish Boyle. Nancy grew up in the North End section of the city and attended Dan J. Flood Elementary School and was also a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Class of 1985. Nancy worked as the night manager for Wendy’s on Kidder Street for several years until one evening she was struck by a motor vehicle walking home from work. This accident changed her life, leaving Nancy disabled, however, Nancy lived life through the kindness and generosity of her friends and family who cared for her. Nancy had a deep faith in God and was a member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Wilkes-Barre. She also enjoyed watching her afternoon soap operas on television, especially General Hospital. Nancy is preceded in death by her loving parents Thomas and Nancy . Surviving are her brother James, Wilkes-Barre; sister Deborah, Plymouth; god daughter Diane Hillard, Florida, two nieces and one nephew. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Episcopal Church, 373 North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pa, 18702, with The Rev. Timothy Alleman officiating. Arrangements have been placed in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., Plains Twp.
