Obituary of Pearl W. Hrabousky

Pearl Webb Hrabousky, 90, passed on Thursday, October 28,2021, with her family by her side in the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Pearl was born on May 20,1931, in Bear Creek Township to her loving parents Bart and Pearl Fassett Webb. She attended Oliver Elementary School, in Bear Creek. She was employed by Central Slipper Shoes until the factory's closure and retired from the Woodlands after working several years in housekeeping.
Pearl loved working on projects around her home. Her most precious moments were making the Polish Wigilia meal for Christmas Eve for her family of 20 people. She enjoyed parties and supplying them with different sweets and baked goods that everyone loved to have.
Pearl was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be lovingly missed.
In addition to her parents and husband of 67 years George, who passed on April 13, 2015, she was preceded in death by all her siblings, sisters Eleanor, Jenny, Lucretia, Isabel, Verna, Margaret, and brothers Jasper, and Emmanuel.
Surviving are her daughters Sheran Wozniak and husband Joseph, Bear Creek, Joann Hrabousky and partner Marilyn Arnesen,Ridgefield,Washington, sons George Hrabousky and wife Sandra, Margate, Florida, Matthew and wife Karen, Bear Creek, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
The Family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Gardens of East Mountain and to the nurses and staff of the Geisinger emergency room for taking such great care of Pearl. To Doctors Karla Anderson, James Bruno, Jeffrey DeAndrea and Robert Fiorelli, thank you for your loving and compassionate care of our mother, you added years to her life with your professional and expertise in your fields of care.
There will be no calling hours.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 1030 a.m. in Saints Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, West Wyoming.
