Obituary of Sandra Marie Uzialko

Sandra Marie Uzialko, 61, of Swoyersville, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and companion passed on Friday, February 4, 2022, while in the care of the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp. Born in Wilkes-Barre on July 26,1960,she was a daughter of Melvin and Cora Elizabeth Cooper Talmadge. Sandra was raised in Wilkes-Barre and was employed as a factory worker for most of her life. Her most important role in life was being a mother and caregiver for her family. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Melvin and Cora, daughter Jeanette Miller, and brother Gary Talmadge. Surviving are sons Benjamin and his partner William Loyack, Hanover Twp.; and Stephen, Swoyersville; daughters Krystel Uzialko, Hanover Twp.; and Ashley Miller, Forty Fort; brother Mervin Talmadge Jr. Pittston, sister Roseanne Lasoski and her husband Joseph, Wilkes-Barre; brother, Elmer Talmadge and his wife Rachel, Forty Fort; loving companion Gene Soboleski, Swoyersville; grandchildren Isabella, Stephen, Tyler, Macie, and Gabriella; along with nieces. Friends and family may attend a visitation on Saturday, February 12, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., 55 Stark Street, Plains.
