Obituary of Mary A. Kowalczyk

Mrs. Mary A. Kowalczyk, of Wilkes-Barre, PA, died in the early hours of Monday, February 21, 2022. Born in Vandalia, Illinois. Daughter to the late Clinton and Ruby R. Sanders Reese. Wife of over 45 years to late husband, Stanley S. Kowalczyk, who died in 2000. Mary was a lifelong seamstress and a CNA for over 20 years, but her life revolved around her family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by a sister Nancy Morrow, brother Calvin Reese, daughter Donna Moore, and three grandchildren. Surviving are her 3 sons and their wives, Stanley and Brenda Kowalczyk, David and June Kowalczyk, and Robert and Debbie Kowalczyk. Mary had 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren at the time of her death. Funeral Services will be held from the Yanaitis Funeral Home on Stark St in Plains, PA, on Saturday, February 26,2022. Family and friends, my call at the funeral home between the hours of 1:30 P.M. and 4:00 P.M.
