Obituary of Hailey Jordan Taylor

Please share a memory of Hailey to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Hailey J. Taylor, 24, passed on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Her passing was untimely, Hailey battled with addiction in recent years, and her family’s worst fears came true as she passed in the night at her family’s residence in Wilkes-Barre. Born in Kingston on July 10, 1998, she was the daughter of Jeremy Taylor and Amanda Shilkoski. Hailey Bop, as she was affectionately called or pumpkin, grew up in the Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre. She attended Solomon Elementary School and was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, class of 2017. Hailey loved working with her flowers in horticultural class at the Wilkes-Barre Vocational School. This is where her artistic talents blossomed. She recently worked retail, but her true passion was drawing. She let her imagination guide her pen to create some beautiful memories on paper for her family to now treasure. Hailey loved to take selfies or post her Tik-Tok videos of those perfect eyebrows she sculpted every morning. Her family and friends knew that her smile would brighten up the darkest room. She could have been so many beautiful things in this life, but her addiction robbed her of that. Hailey was a true friend that would stick up for anyone that stood by her. She was fierce, opinionated, and loved caring for others. She truly tried to put her addiction behind her, but it would not let her go. Now we have a gaping hole in our hearts for that beautiful girl that we all knew is now testing her angel wings in heaven. We love you always. Hailey joins in heaven her maternal and paternal grandparents; brother Zachary Mitchell; and her aunt Megan Rosenbaum. Surviving to mourn her passing are her mother Amanda Shilkoski and her boyfriend Mark, Wilkes-Barre; father Jeremy Taylor and his wife Joy ,Sugar Notch; brothers Ethan Watkins, Wilkes-Barre; Cameron Holeman, Sugar Notch; Dante Taylor, Sugar Notch; Sebastian Holeman, Miners-Mills; aunt Alda Cullen and her husband Edward, Wilkes- Barre; uncle Bill Taylor, Jacksonville, Fl; great aunt Donna Androski, Mountaintop; cousins Alexander Harrison; Jessica Kellow; and her twin, Vance Cullen; and cannot forget her “brather from a fur mother”, her loving dog, Ikit.
