Please share a memory of Diane to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Diane Marie Krushnowski, 69, of the Miners-Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, passed peacefully on Saturday, March 18,2023, with her loving family by her side in the comforting care of the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp. Born in Plains Twp., on November 17, 1953, she was one of twelve children of Anthony and Betty Thomas Wasmanski. Diane attended Plains Memorial High School. On September 23, 1972, she married Paul Krushnowski, and together they raised three children: Wendy; Ann; and Paul Jr. One word sums up Diane, caring. She cared for many patients in her lifetime working at Wesley Village until her retirement. To her this wasn't just a job. It was about the people she loved and comforted each day. Caring for her family for whenever someone stopped by, she would make sure you never went home empty handed. Oh, did Diane love shopping and visiting different stores. Diane also knew her way around the kitchen and enjoyed cooking for the holidays and family events. Finally, caring for her loved ones as the time got close for her passing. She cared more for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, by being strong for them to help keep up their spirits and drive. She was the rock of our family. As was said, your wings were ready in heaven, but our hearts were not here on earth. We will miss you and keep dad company. Love you always. Diane joins in heaven her loving parents Betty and Anthony, and brothers Paul and Robert. Surviving to mourn her passing are her husband of fifty years, Paul Sr., Miners-Mills; children Wendy Suchocki (Robert), Bear Creek; Ann Pedana (Keith), Pittston; Paul Jr.(Stephanie), Pittston; grandchildren: Julie McMurtrie: Robert Suchocki: Brooklyn Pedana: Katelyn Suchocki: Audrena Krushnowski: and Layton Krushnowski; great grandchildren Kinsley and Jacob McMurtrie; brothers and sisters Anthony Wasmanski( Maryse); Janice Baller: Donald Wasmanski (Diane): Judy Buckler (Frank): Leonard Wasmanski (Paula); Laurie Zavaskas: Steven Wasmanski: Susan Smith: and Jamie Wasmanski: along with several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nursing staff and doctors of the fourth floor of the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, especially Kim and Danielle for the caring they showed in her hours of need.
