Mrs. Patricia “Pat” A. Snee Hoskins, 75, of Trucksville passed away on Sunday.

Born in Wilkes-Barre in 1947, Pat spent an entire lifetime caring for others as a daughter, a wife, a sister, a mother, a grandmother, an aunt, a friend, and as a nurse for 49 of those years.

Proud of her heritage, Pat was a member of the Donegal Society and enjoyed all things Irish. She also enjoyed knickknack shopping with her sister and niece, receiving and giving greeting cards, hallmark movies, weekly lunches with her best friend, rocking on her porch with friends and family who needed an ear to bend, almost anything chocolate, travelling, and most importantly caring for her family and friends.

She is preceded by her husband Thomas Hoskins, her great love, her protector, and the man who taught her how to trust in love again.

She is also preceded by her parents Thomas Snee and Rose Lynch Snee.

Pat is survived by her only son, Sean, daughter-in-law Rebecca, her 3 grandchildren: Katherine, James, and Charlotte, her sister Betty Flaherty, brother-in-law Billy Flaherty, niece and goddaughter Erin Flaherty, the extended Flaherty family, numerous cousins in Ireland and Northeastern PA, and dear friends.

Pat asked the following to be included in this notice, “Grieve not. No speak of me with tears but laugh and talk of me as though I were beside you. Loved you so.”

Patricia's funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. from the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., 55 Stark Street, Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains. Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. John C. Lambert, Pastor. Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp. Friends and family are invited to attend wake from 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday, September 8,2023.
