Elizabeth Ann Mikus, 52, of Wyoming, passed on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, while in the care of the Commonwealth Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. A loving wife, daughter, and sister left this earth too soon to wear her angel wings. Born in Wilkes-Barre on January 15, 1971, she was a daughter of Theresa Lefkoski Flynn and the late Joseph Flynn of the Miners-Mills section of the city. Elizabeth attended schools in the Plains area and was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, class of 1989. Elizabeth was employed as a dental assistant in the Dr. William Walthour dentist office for several years. She enjoyed needlepoint and was a cat lover all her life. Elizabeth met her future husband, Kevin Mikus at a Tupperware party at a friend's home. . On August 16, 1992, in the Wyoming Methodist Church in Forty-Fort the two lives became one. They resided in the Wyoming area until Elizabeth left for heaven. We love you always and will see you again. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband Kevin, Wyoming; mother Theresa Flynn, Wyoming; brothers Joseph Flynn Jr., Plains; and Richard Flynn, Shavertown. Services for Elizabeth will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Arrangements have been placed in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc. Plains Twp.
