Delphine (Del) Wejkszner, 88, a lifelong resident of Hudson, passed away in the care of Allied Skilled Nursing Wilkes-Barre nearly five months after a tumor related stroke . Delphine was a vibrant person, good mother and our world was a happier place because of her. She was a devout Catholic and life member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was the daughter of Victoria (Moch) Panowicz and Leon Panowicz and a graduate of Plains Memorial High School. Delphine was preceded in death by her husband Alexander Wejkszner and her brothers Bernard, Raymond, Stanley, Thomas and Joseph. She is survived by her sons Allen (Linda) Slatington, Joseph- Hudson, Mark (Brenda) Mountain Top and Michael (Lisa) Hull, MA, along with brother Robert, Forty Fort; and sisters Leona Svab, Hudson; Bernadine Yencha, Wilkes-Barre; Alice May Morgan, Warren, NJ; along with grandchildren: Taylor, Luke, Brooke, Brandon, and Evan; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family can meet Thursday, October 12th at Saints Peter and Paul Parish, 13 Hudson Rd., Plains, at 9:00 AM prior to a 10:00 AM mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hudson. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Saints Peter and Paul Parish Community Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA, 18705 Arrangements are through Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., Hudson.
