Hilary Palencar passed away recently after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in 1956 and attended Coughlin High School and Wilkes College. She was Born Again at the Binghamton First Assemblies of God on February 20,1980.
Hebrews 4:12 was her favorite Bible verse. “For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Her favorite verse of literature is from Two Gentlemen of Verona: “Poor wounded name: my bosom as a bed Shall lodge thee till thy wound be thoroughly healed.”
Hilary loved Jesus Christ and hopes that in sixty-seven years, she helped just a little the same humble kinds of people her Savior helped. She cared about no other kinds.
