Obituary of Ralph E. Everett

Ralph Everett, 75, of Kingston, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, entered eternal rest on Friday, August 9, 2024. Ralph was born in Wilkes-Barre on February 1, 1949, to the late Benjamin and Irene Garren Everett. He attended local Wilkes-Barre schools and graduated from GAR High School, Wilkes-Barre. After high school, Ralph joined the United States Marines and served in the Vietnam War. Ralph then worked for various trucking and construction companies until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents; his longtime companion Mary Ellen Everett; brothers Harvey Sr.; James; Thomas; Eugene; Jerry; sisters Shirley Shinko; Dolores Fritz; Margaret Jagoda; Evelyn Pastusak; Dorothy Kochanski; Nancy Shinko and Linda Knesis; nephew Harvey Everett Jr.; and great nephew Alex Everett. Surviving Ralph is his sister Ruth Everett; nephew/caregiver Mark (Denise) Everett, Hanover Twp.; nieces Lisa Parcinski, Wilkes-Barre; and Angelika Everett, Plains; great niece Jennie (James) Casey, Plymouth; great-great niece and nephew Korrie and Landon Casey, Plymouth; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A burial with military honors will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours or service for the public. In Ralph’s memory, memorial donations may be made to DAV (Disabled American Veterans) at www.dav.org. Ralph’s arrangements have been placed in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc, Plains Twp.
