Aiden James Butry, 20, of Dallas, passed Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains, with his loving family at his side.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on September 15, 2004, he was a son of Amanda Garrison Rambo and the late Martin J. Butry Sr. Aiden grew up in the Plains and Bear Creek Area. He attended school in the Wilkes-Barre School District attending Leo E. Solomon Elementary School and James M. Coughlin High School. He continued his education with home schooling.
Aiden held several jobs in his life, but none more important to him than being a caregiver. It was something that he prided himself on.
Growing up Aiden enjoyed playing video games, riding quads with his family and friends, going target shooting, or just teasing his family.
Aiden was preceded in passing by his father Martin Sr.
Surviving to mourn his passing are his mother Amanda Rambo, Glen Lyon; brother Martin Butry Jr., Glen Lyon; step brothers and sisters Jayden Rambo; Brooklyn Rambo; Trinity Rambo, and Zachery Noss; grandparents Sharon and Martin Butry, Bear Creek; Carol Davis, Plains; and Harry Garrison, Bear Creek, and his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitations to by held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., 55 Stark Street, Plains.
Aiden’s funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
