He also loved mountain biking, skateboarding, snowboarding and playing basketball with his friends and his brothers Nicholas and Satchel. Garrett was talented at building with his hand and was the big brother to his siblings and enjoyed teasing his sisters Bella and Evelyn. He was also watching out for others and not letting someone get taken advantage of. Garrett was always protective of his friends and family.
He was a half a year away from getting his welding certificate. In his free time he loved listening to rap music, and watching anime.
