Shirley Jo Pahler, 53, of Wilkes-Barre, passed at her private residence on Monday, January 6,2025.

Born on February 9, 1971, she was a daughter of Mary Ellen Haley Pahler and the late Charles Joseph Pahler Sr.

Shirley was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School.

Shirley was a baker at the Old Country Buffet for several years until the business’s closure.

She enjoyed playing puzzle games on her phone and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her mother Mary Ellen Pahler; son Joshua Wilk; daughter Rebecca Wilk; sisters Teresa Ann Koval and Lisa Marie Pahler; brother Charles J. Pahler Jr.; nieces Carrie Koval, Ashleigh Simon, and Melanie Pahler; nephew Stephen Wood; great niece and nephews Arianna, Brielle, Kashius, and Amailia.

A Memorial visitation for Shirley Jo will be held on Friday, January 17,2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., 55 Stark Street, Plains.
