Obituary of Robert Leon Dobinski

Robert L. Dobinski (Dobrzynski),78, of Kingston, passed on Monday, June 09, 2014, in the River Run Nursing Facility, Kingston. Born on April 19,1936, he was a son to the late Leon and Emily Gedrich Dobinski. Robert grew up in Wilkes-Barre where he attended local school and was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School , Class of 1954. After graduation Robert enlisted in the United States Army National Guard. Robert was enlisted for thirty plus years until his discharge in 1988. Robert held employment with the Kingston Armory for many years as a custodian until his retirement. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Plains. He is preceded in death by his sisters Florence Waslin, and Martha Tomczak; brothers Edmund, Robert, and John. Robert is survived by nieces and nephews, and friend Salome Meyers, Plymouth . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this, Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10 am in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains. Rev. John Boyle will be officiating services. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Plains. Friends and family may call at the church on Friday morning from 9:00am till time of Mass.
