Nancy (Annunciata) Louise Ribolini Hornick, Exeter, passed away surrounded by her loving sons July 28 at Lehigh Valley Medical Center. Nancy was born February 1,1941,in Hudson, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John William Hornick, Sr; her parents, Louis and Lena Ribolini; her son Lawrence (Larry) Hornick;and her brother Louis Ribolini, Jr.
A native of Hudson, Nancy spent most of her life living in Swoyersville. Nancy was a founding member of the Swoyersville Sailors mini football and also served as a
cheerleading coach. She was a long time volunteer for the Swoyersville Little League Ladies' Auxiliary and the Wyoming Valley West Spartan and West Side Tech Titan
Booster clubs. Nancy was retired from the local garment industry and spent her retirement partying with her family and was an avid New York Yankees fan.
Nancy is survived by her sons, John William (Beth) Hornick, Jr, Hinesville, GA; Steven Hornick, Elmira, MI; Alan (Donna) Hornick, Hanover Twp, PA; Matthew (Jean)
Hornick of Plymouth, PA; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters Rita (Richard) Shuleski, Miners Mills, PA; Debbie Kogoy, Dallas, PA; Marie (Martin)Everhart, Slatington, PA; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Yanaitis Funeral Home, 55 Stark St, Plains, PA from 4 pm to 7 pm Sunday. Services will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 10 am with Deacon Peter G. Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donation be directed to the hospice of your choice.
