Krystyna Jez, 71, of Plains Township, passed on Thursday, March 16, 2017, while in the care of the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains Township.
Born on July 2, 1945, in Krosno, Poland, she was a daughter to the late Wladyslaw and maria Wojnar Wojcik. Krystyna was educated in local schools and became a kindergarten teacher. She worked as a teacher until she married her husband Aleksander Jez and started a family.
Krystyna is preceded in death by her husband Aleksander.
Surviving are her daughters Katarzyna Barcewicz, and Elzbieta Wietki; sons Slawomir Jez, and Pawel Jez; siblings Evgeniusz Wojcik and Leonarda Sikora.
Funeral Services for Krystyna will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., Plains Township.
