Obituary of Joseph James Frank

Joseph James Frank, 55, of Kingston, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Joseph was born on March 26, 1960, in Central Islip, New York. He was the youngest son to Kenneth and Carmella Salerno Frank. Joseph was a graduate of Central Islip High School, class of 1978. In 1994, Joseph moved his family to the Wyoming Valley where he was employed with ADT security systems. Later, he worked at Broome Tioga Motorcross track where he enjoyed his time as track coordinator. Most recently, he was employed at Lowe's Home Improvement Store, Edwardsville. Joseph's life was first of all surrounded by his loving family. Whether it was going hunting, fishing, camping, target shooting, or going out on his boat, his family would be there to enjoy the fun. Joseph loved Motorcross, especially with his son Joseph, and playing Monopoly to all hours with his daughters and grandnieces. He had a big heart for helping others and spending time in the outdoors. Surviving are his parents Kenneth and Carmella Frank, Tunkhannock; wife Annette, Kingston; daughters Jennifer Rising and her husband, Joel, Baton Rouge, LA; Ashley, Kingston; son Joseph, Pacific Beach, CA; sister Bernadette Baumann and her husband Richard, Summit, NY; brother Kenneth and his wife Angela, Fort Plain, NY; two nephews; two nieces; four grandnieces; his best friend Mike Hines; his other best friends, Joseph's loving dog Lily, and his cat Brooklyn. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016, from 11:00am to 1:00pm and 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc. 55 Stark Street, Plains, Pa . Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
