Denise Mikulka, 52, of Pittston, passed Friday, May 24, 2014, in the General Hospital Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Edwardsville, on October 5, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Marie Powell Wolman. She grew up in Edwardsville and attended Wyoming Valley West and West Side Vo-Technical School. She graduated from Empire Beauty School in 1986, however she became a lifelong secretary at the Community Medical Center, Scranton. She enjoyed crocheting and watching Dancing with the Stars. She is preceded in death by her sister Jacqueline Park, 2012.
Surviving are a daughter Megan Mikulka ,Pittston; brother Ted Wolman, Hanover; and grandchildren Harley; Miranda, and Megan La Rue.
Funeral Services are private and held at the convenience of the family. Funeral Arrangements are in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., Plains.
