Obituary of Edward Paul Latsko Jr.

Edward Latsko Jr., of the Hudson section of Plains Twp., passed away June 14, 2019.  Born July 22, 1957, he was the son of Edward Latsko Sr. and Elizabeth (Zaharowski) Latsko. 
 
 Ed was a graduate of Coughlin High School and attended Luzerne County Community College.  In later years he received his CDL from LCCC.  He worked at various auto body shops including Kingston Dodge, Lispi Chevrolet, and lastly at Trans Refrigerator Lines for over 17 years.  
 
 Ed was an avid NASCAR fan, going to many races across the  country from Daytona, Florida to Las Vegas, Nevada over the years. 
 
 He is survived by his mother Elizabeth, sisters Dianne (Thomas Jesikiewicz) and Lisa (Robert Bull) nieces and nephews, Elise, Luke, Ryan and Katherine.  He was predeceased by his father Edward.  
 
 The family would like to give special thanks to Heartland Hospice for the attention, care and compassion they provided to Edward. 
  
  Friends and family are invited to attend the Office of Christian Burial with Diving Liturgy which will be held at St. Mary’s Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church,695 North Main St, Wilkes-Barre, Wednesday, June 19th at 10:30 am.  Interment is private.  
 
 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church.  

 

Arrangements are in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., Plains Township.
