My deepest sympathy to Jean, Jennifer, and Katie's children. Katie has always held a special place in my heart and will continue to in my memories. She was a true friend, more like a sister to me during our many years as childhood friends. My memories of Katie are the countless back to back sleepovers, many days spent swimming, our "midnight snack" a sandwich with Italian dressing, secretly still playing with dolls because we felt others would think we were to old to be doing that, and so many more memories to count! Such wonderful memories to remember Katie! To her family...I pray that you will have comfort knowing that her pain and struggle are now over and she is at peace...Rest in peace my dear friend!--Amy Kandrac Toma
